A recent article was published by a UK Health Blog coining the term “iPosture”. Seems like a ridiculous concept, but is it really? Take a look around you next time you find yourself in a coffee shop or at an airport or in the waiting room of an office. The prevalence of this anterior head, rolled in shoulders and kyphotic upper back is everywhere! This leads to chronic strain on the back of the neck (the neck extensors) and can cause your chest muscles (pectorals) to become tight and shortened causing discomfort when trying to sit up straight. Good rule of thumb here is bring the device to your eyes, not the eyes to the device.
